Band Performance

Today my bandmates and I went on stage to do a performance, because one of my school teachers was retiring. Everyone wore their band uniform, even me! This was my first time. I have to say the uniform was so cool (even though I didn't wanted to wear it at first ,because it's very thick)

We were supposed to dance and play our intruments, I was so confused at first but I got used to it. I guess I did well on stage...After that, we had to stand outside and say goodbye to the teacher who was retiring. The sun was SO HOT I was like BURNING!!! Our band teacher didn't tell us we had to do that, if not I would have put on sunblock...haha!

I wore my band uniform home because we were supposed to wash it. When I reached home, my mum took pictures of me using her handphone. When I switched on my phone, I got messages from my friends saying, "You were so cool on stage" , "You're so pretty wearing like that" and all that...

Now I can't wait for sports day (I get to wear my band uniform again)!!! :D

Holidays!!!!

The holidays are finally here!!! Free at last!!!! My school homework, exams and tuition were driving me crazy during the first semester!!! And now I can take a 2 weeks' break from all that "tiring" stuff (yay!!!)

Now I can sleep late, wake up late and go for breakfast at my favourite mamak shop!!But......I have band practice for 3 hours from Monday until Wednesday(now I need to go back to school..sigh).and..I have tuition too..sigh...band practice and tuition classes really SPOIL my holidays. Well, I have to go anyway because my teacher says if we don't come we will be kicked out of the band (so mean!!!).

What I plan to do this holidays....Eat, Sleep, Play computer and Go Shopping!!!(hope my mum brings me).

Teacher's Day Party

We had a party in school on Friday to celebrate Teacher's Day. I brought 50 small packets of MiMi and TamTam snacks because there are 50 students in my class. I also made 3 cards for 3 of my favourite teachers...I chose the picture from the internet and dad helped me to print them out. My classmates brought lots of food and soft drinks. There were a few different kinds of soft drinks but it was all finished really fast...I only had one cup of 100Plus.


I brought home a lot of snacks. I think this year we had the most food. My class teacher even 'ta pau' a lot of mee for her kids at home, so that she didn't have to cook that day, haha!

On Saturday I went to watch the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra with mum and dad. 4 of our church friends also came along and they looked really nice in their formal clothes. Mum said I had to wear a dress...and I don't like wearing dresses!!! A lot of the women wore dresses but some also wore pants.

The title was 'Some Enchanted Evening'. The Kuala Lumpur Children's choir sang a few songs. The conductor had white hair and wore a bright blue coat. Mum said he reminded her of Einstein, haha! The guest singer Sir Willard White was really good and funny too. He sang a song about bananas and made everyone sing along with him. Then he sang a song about animals and made all the animal sounds...that was really funny!

I enjoyed myself and the next time I go...I'll be wearing pants :D
