Today is Christmas!!

Today is Christmas!! My performance today went quite well. I still had to put on make up :( My mum wanted to put on make up for me at home...but I didn't want to..because I thought it will be so embarrassing in church when everyone see me.

When I came back from church,straight away we opened all our Christmas presents. My parents gave me a guitar stand!!No wonder my mum was looking at the guitar stands when I was in the guitar shop buying my guitar strap. Now I don't need to put my guitar in the bag everyday :D

After that I went with my dad to Jusco to buy "Alvin and The Chipmunks 2" movie tickets for tomorrow's show..After we bought it I went to the CD shop to look at some music CD's..And guess what I found..David Archuleta Christmas From The Heart CD!!!My dad let me buy it..So I went home..put it into the CD player and played it.The whole house was full of David Archuleta songs!(and my brother was complaining,he doesn't like David Archuleta..but he still listens to his songs) So that's 2 Christmas presents from my parents :D

Caroling!!!

I went for Caroling last night! :D It was quite fun..We only went to 2 houses and the Cafe 77 below our church..so it was quite relaxing and we didn't really need to rush like the past few years. I wore the same Christmas hat this year.The ladies all wore a green scarf too.My mum took the whole day to seal the edges :S

I went shopping with my family today at Sungei Wang and Mid Valley to buy some Christmas presents, then after that we had dinner at The Ship.Very nice,its like sitting in a ship...They have this balloons with helium gas in it so they were up on the ceiling.Some kids were jumping,trying to get them down...haha!

Tomorrow is Christmas!! I wonder what my parents will give me this year..I guess I will update about that tomorrow..haha.I'm performing in church tomorrow too...I'm the "Night Wind" and I really hope that I won't have to put on make up..hehehe.

Its gonna be 2010 soon!So fast...next year is the tiger year!!(my year!!) :D AWESOME!! Well,that's all I have to write...Must sleep early so can wake up go to church ,then come home and open presents!!!Weeeee...!! lol! I painted my nails blue...nice?

Port Dickson

I went to Port Dickson on Thursday with my parents and a few church friends and came back today...(wow,3 days seem to pass so fast). This time I didn't really do much swimming or go to the beach. Most of the time we went around town buying food for people at our church Youth Camp which was also held in Port Dickson.

One of my church members bought me a United States shirt. I don't really wear this kind of shirts, but this one is quite nice. :) Last night we were watching "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" movie.We watched until the midnight news came on =.=

After the news, there were more than 10 advertisments before the show could continue...We were all tired but wanted to watch the ending of the show. It finished about 1 a.m.....

Today we took a group photo with the people at the Youth Camp. They gave me a Youth Camp T-shirt even though I am not even a 'youth' yet :D The shirt was kinda big (even though it is S size).

Vacation Bible School (Break the Code)

I went for Vacation Bible School this year at our main church in Subang Jaya, and this time none of my friends joined me. So I had to go by myself :(


Vacation Bible School was on 7th - 9th December. The theme was 'Break The Code'. I had a lot of fun there. On the second day, we went to the Tenmoku Pottery Factory somewhere in KL. I painted my own cup! But we were told we would get it back later because it had to go for firing.


I enjoyed myself. Next year I'll try to get some friends to come along with me,haha.

I still haven't got my cup back...I wonder how it'll look like!

Car Broke Down

Today after my brother's drum class, my mum took us and my brother's friend to check out a dance studio because my brother and some of his other friends wanted to join the hip hop class.

On the way back, my mum drove over a bump and suddenly the car started to wobble! How scary! So my mum drove to the side of the road and we all got down.The tyres seemed fine, so we couldn't figure out what was causing the car to wobble. Then my mum called AAM. We waited almost 2 hours in the car for the AAM mechanic to come because he came all the way from KL and got lost trying to find us :S


When the AAM guy came, he was in a van...I thought he would come in a tow truck to bring my mum's car to the workshop. So we had to wait again for the guy to find out what's wrong with the car. He drove the car and there was this loud scary sound from the back of the car...and I was sitting at the back!!! Finally he found out that something near the back tyre had broken...Then my mum decided to drive the car home first and bring it to the workshop tomorrow. She had to drive super slow or else the car would wobble again.

What a day! I spent the whole afternoon waiting in the car and had to miss my ballet class!

I Got Baptized!!

Today is my baptism day!!!My grandparents came along for the Sunday Service at our church too...I think they were more excited than me..haha!

The water was warm...but my body was cold!!!Maybe just a little bit nervous I guess. :D

After my baptism I could take communion for the very first time :D

Damai Laut

Went with my family to Damai Laut for holidays...The hotel was very nice! They had a basketball court,tennis court,archery and other fun stuff..




The first day we went swimming in the swimming pool..Wow..the water was so cold at that time! The second day we went kayakking in the morning..It was so fun!!And tiring..

The third was our last day there..We went for a swim again...Then we went to a few shops in Teluk Intan to look at clothes, have lunch and then went back home..




Had lots of fun. I bought a rubik's cube and some bangles in the towns we visited. I hope I can go there again!! :D


At first I didn't know how to use this light switch in the hotel room...too old fashion,haha!

See What I Got!!

I went with my family to watch the A LITTLE NIGHTMARE MUSIC performance by Igudesman and Joo at the Petronas Dewan Philharmonic on Tuesday night. My mum first saw one of their videos on YouTube when I was learning the song 'Fur Elise' on the piano and she wanted me to see how other people play the song. Then she found other funny videos of their performances all over the world.

My mum said we all had to wear formal clothes and I wanted to wear pants instead of a dress...so that I can run away fast if I get chased by the crazy violinist or pianist..that's what I told my friend Vania, haha!

The show was really funny and we all laughed a lot. After the show Igudesman and Joo signed autographs. The queue was very long and I had school the next day, so we didn't wait and went home. But my friends stayed behind and got their autographs. They also got a ticket autographed for me...yay!!! Thanks!!!

Holidays!!!

3 more days to holidays!!!! YAY!!!! I totally won't forget the teachers who have taught me this year..but I think my teachers won't want to teach my class again..because my class is like the noisiest class ever...haha!

Shall I talk about about my teachers??Maybe I should..Firstly,my English teacher..She's like the most awesome English teacher I have ever had..Really..Some of my previous English teachers speak broken English...(not all, just some).

Secondly,my class teacher..She explains Chinese words so well that we will always remember them in our heads...

The only thing I'm thinking now is...If I ask my teachers whether they would want to teach my class again next year...I'll probably get a big NO..haha! (My class is so naughty and noisy until teachers also headache) It's just an IF..So to all my school friends..DON'T tell my teachers I said this...hehehe

Cute Lunch

I need to stay back in school for extra classes 3 times a week. Usually my mum will bring lunch for me...sandwiches, sushi, maggi goreng or macaroni because I don't like to eat rice for lunch :D
That day she bought a few bread cutters and stamps from the 100 YEN shop and made these ham and cheese sandwiches...










She made a lot but only took pictures of 4 pieces! My friends said they were so cute and they wanted to try some...They also like my mum's sushi, so she has to make extra, hehe!!

'Two From Galilee' Performance

I know I haven't been blogging for a few weeks...I had exams...now that it's over I can finally blog!

A few weeks ago, I went with my family and a few other church members to watch a performance called "Two From Galilee". The performance was like awesome!! The singers can really sing very high notes!!! I really enjoyed the performance. It was very funny at the beginning when the curtain took about 5 minutes to open...They played music while we were waiting...Once the music finished, I was like "Great! It's about to start"!! Then I'll get a big NOT because to music starts again...It happened like that a lot of times..haha

Have you all heard the song "Fifteen" by Taylor Swift? It's a nice song...My brother says that song is for him...LOL!! (because he's fifteen years old)

New Guitar!!!

I bought my new guitar just now!!! Yay!!!

Today after lunch my mum brought me to The Guitar Store near Leisure Mall to look at some guitars. The salesman showed us some very expensive guitars. The cheapest was RM300 and it didn't sound very nice. Then he showed us one that was RM599 and it sounded good...but...mum said it was too expensive :(

Then we went to the Yamaha Music School near our house. They had some very nice looking guitars. I saw a blue guitar with nice patterns on it. It was RM234. Mum said I had to ask dad first because he is paying for it. So we went home. I waited for dad to come home after work and told him about the guitar...and he said OK! :D

So mum and I went back to the shop after dinner to buy the guitar. Mum also bought an electronic tuner for me :D

Finally...I have my very own guitar!!! This is how it looks like:

2 Hours of Writing

Last week my teacher gave us 2 hours of copying pages and pages of stuff...2 hours!!! By one hour my hand was so painful that I couldn't write another word!!

Most of my teachers were a little bit angry at us and I don't even know why...This Friday is Children's Day, and I'm performing with my bandmates on stage again...Hope it'll be better than last year. I remember last year we had a terrible Children's Day!

Oh ya, my friends and I were playing basketball today and my friend threw the ball at me while I wasn't looking... it hit my finger...So now it's like blue black :S

Merit!!!!!

I got a Merit for my Grade 5 piano exam!!!So that means 2 of my wishes have come true...Now I can buy a new guitar!!YIPEE!!(Mum and Dad said that if I get Merit for my piano exam they will buy me a new guitar!)

Uncle's Wedding

Finally, my uncle (my dad's youngest brother) got married 2 weeks ago..

I took so long to buy a dress for the wedding...tried on sooo many dresses...My mum tried to get me to wear a frilly dress...ewww!!! Finally I found one in Jusco that I liked.

During the wedding dinner I sat at a table with my brother, my mum's parents and my 5 year old cousin. My mum and dad sat at the main table with the bride and groom. There was a guest singer who sang very high notes and I thought the wine glasses were going to break...just kidding,haha!!!

So now I have a new aunty. I used to call her 'cheh-cheh' but now I have to call her 'aunty' and it doesn't suit her because she doesn't look like an aunty, more like a 'cheh-cheh' :D

1 Hour and 40 Minutes Piano Class

Today I had a 1 hour and 40 minutes piano class.And it's suppose to be a 1 hour class :S

I took about 40 minutes to do my theory work...I had 2 pages to do.Once I'd finished then my teacher took another few minutes to mark it :S

I just felt like blogging about this since I have nothing to do.. :P

I Had A Date

Well, not THAT kind of date...haha



My mum brought home some dates...free gift from the new shop nearby where she bought some fruits and vegetables. And I tried one.



And I also had some seaweed wrapped popiah bought in Bandar Mahkota Cheras. Tastes quite nice, mum says she will try to make popiah one day.

Cousins went back :(

My cousins went back last week...I know I'm suppose to blog about this a long time ago...But I just got too lazy,I've been too addicted to watching Taylor Swift's videos...XD




As I was saying, my cousins from US went back...I will miss playing with them, but I think they will come back again later this year...(I think). Wish they will come back sooner...But time flies, right??? (I hope it does..)haha

Taylor Swift Won!!!

Taylor Swift won the Best Female Video for the song "You Belong With Me" this year!!And this is the first time I'm watching The Video Awards on TV...

I know I've never told anyone that I'm a Taylor Swift fan..And not to say that I don't like David Archuleta anymore..I'm a fan of both of them.

Now I feel like asking my parents to buy Taylor Swift's CD..XD

Fun With My Cousins

My 2 little cousins from USA have been coming over to play. My mum has taken out more of my brother's old toys from his cupboard for them to play. My dad took them to the car wash and we sat in the car while it was being washed. My cousin Aaron said that it looked like snow when the soap splattered the windscreen!

Last Saturday they came over again. I gave them some paper to do drawing because I have some colourful marker pens.

Piano Exam

Yesterday was my piano exam...I was so totally nervous! Grade 5 practical exam is so hard (that's because I didn't practise properly, until the day before exam day)..haha.

I had 2 things I was hoping for when I sat in the waiting room...First, to get a merit because my parents said I could get a new guitar if I get a merit...Second, for a guy examiner...because...guys give more easy scales, and usually C major or G major for sight reading...haha :P

Well...one of my wishes came true...It was a guy examiner!!! I saw him when I was registering...I could say I was totally calm in the exam room...That examiner was so kind...He gave me F major for my contrary motion scales and G major for sight reading!!!

This was the first examiner that said, "Now you are free, enjoy your holidays!" or something like that when I finished...Now I need to wait for my results...

Oh ya, I really need to say "Thank you God for helping me do well in my exam". :D

School Holidays!!!

School Holidays are finally here!!!YAY!!!But I can't really go out...because of the
H1N1 virus...but at least my cousins are back from USA for 6 weeks :D


fishing game

Yesterday,my cousins and their parents came to my house to eat steamboat! My parents had to dig out some of my old toys and my brother's old toys for them to play (wow...I don't even remember we had so many toys!). We took out the train set and a fishing game. They were playing it after dinner...then they also played PlayStation with my brother.

Today my cousins came to church with us. Then we went out for dinner. My cousins are so cute, especially the little baby.

My Favourite Snacks From USA

My uncle, aunty and my 3 little cousins came back from USA for a holiday two days ago...And guess what they brought for me....a big box of my favourite fruit snacks!!! (like gummy bears but in the shape of fruits) Last week I was going to ask my aunty to bring these snacks for me but my mum said it's not nice to ask her to carry such a big box of sweets all the way from USA when she already has so much luggage. But I guess my aunty can read my mind...haha!



My mum says if I don't eat too many packets in one day, the box of snacks might last 1 or 2 months...hopefully.

Baton and Conducting??

Yesterday my headmaster asked my school band whether we could play at someone's funeral. It would be a Chinese funeral...Then I was thinking...my parents won't let me go and play at a funeral right??? After that our teacher said we should call our parents and ask for permission because she needed to know how many people were going.

After a few minutes while I was queueing up to call my parents, our teacher asked us to ask our parents when we reach home...So I joined my band mates who were able to go play for the funeral. Suddenly, teacher called my name and said, "Can you conduct?" I was like so shocked! This is my first year and teacher wants me to conduct!!??? Then I thought I'll just give it a try...(because being a conductor looks kinda fun!) :P

Our band trainer taught me a few conducting signals...After a while, I got used to it. And then....more news...one of our band mates who was supposed to hold the baton was sick...I was thinking, "Oh no!!! Teacher will sure ask me to hold the baton too!"...and she did.

The next day,I was so nervous (I'm actually not the nervous kind of person, but when conducting...I get really really nervous!) I kept thinking, "What if I give the wrong signals? Then the whole band will play all kinds of funny stuff...!!"

The time finally arrived and I got ready. We had to walk to the funeral because it's just nearby our school. It was SO HOT that day! Well, at least it wasn't raining. We had to march on the road around our school. So I conducted then after that held the baton...I was so nervous and so scared...Because behind me was the coffin and the photo of the dead person!! :S

My job was over and I could go home..FINALLY!!!haha...I kinda enjoyed conducting.(Even at a funeral) Hope teacher won't ask me to throw the baton next year for Sports Day...because I have bad aim....

Musical Bed

Mum and dad bought my brother and me new mattresses and bedsheets. We went to Jusco to buy the bedsheets and I chose the one with music notes. Mum says when I am bored I can use my pianica and play the song on my bedsheet...haha. Dad says my new mattress is too comfortable...I can't seem to wake up in the mornings to go to school :D

I had a fun time performing today. Everyone did their best and remembered all their steps. After our performance we had burgers and soft drinks :D

Can't Wait!!!

Tommorrow is Sports Day !!! YIPEE!!! My teacher said we had to wear long socks,and I thought it was stockings (like the pantyhose kind)...So yesterday I asked my mum to buy them for me,and we went to Leisure Mall to get them.

Today, I went to school and my teacher asked, "Have you all bought your socks yet?" Then some said 'yes' and some said 'no'. I asked my friend, "Is it stockings??" And she said no. Alamak! I bought the wrong socks! We were supposed to buy those normal socks but knee length ones...Aiyo..so I went home and told my mum, and she wasn't very pleased because we had to go back to the shop to exchange the socks (hope I won't get the wrong ones again).

Can't Wait for Tommorow to Come!!!! Need to sleep early tonight :(

Under The Hot Hot Sun

My school's Sports Day is on Saturday,and I'm playing in the school band!!! We have been practising for about a few weeks now..and I can say that I have turned much darker...(never been under such hot sun before) :(

We had a rehearsal yesterday and today. Yesterday it was raining a little just before we started, but I think the teacher didn't even care. We tried to cover our pianica because it was get spoiled if it gets wet...

Today, we had another time of rehearsal...it was BURNING hot today. Some of us even forgot our steps...(maybe too nervous) :S

2 More Days till SPORTS DAY!!! YAY!!! Can't wait!

I Ate Durians

Yesterday I was at my grandparents' house when my grandpa and aunty decided to buy some durians from the fruit stall nearby. They asked me to go along...I was like err what??

I asked them to drive but they decided to walk instead. Before we reached there I already knew that the fruit stall had durians...I could smell them!

My grandpa chose a few durians and kept asking me whether I wanted some more. I don't eat very much, but they bought about 8 durians anyway...wow! Good thing my aunty brought along a trolley or else I would have to help them carry the durians...!

When we reached back at my grandparents' place my grandpa straight away went into the kitchen to get the knife...wah, such a big knife, how dangerous! He opened all the durians and we ate in the kitchen. The durians tasted nice but smelled terrible!
My dad and brother stayed far away from the kitchen and kept complaining that it was so smelly!

I had 3 pieces and couldn't eat anymore. Then my mum taught me how to wash my hands with the durian seed to take away the smell. I also drank water from the durian shell...yucks!! My mum said that we should burp in the car on the way home to torture my dad and brother, hahaha!!!

Rotiboy...Yummy!

One of my favourite snacks is rotiboy. There used to be rotiboy outlets in almost every shopping complex but then they closed down one by one, so sad :(

That day I went with my mum to Mid Valley Megamall and guess what I saw when I came up the escalator from the carpark...a sign that said Rotiboy was available...yay!!! My mum and I looked for it on Level 1 but couldn't find it, so my mum said that maybe it hasn't opened yet...so disappointing! I haven't had rotiboy in such a long, long while and I was really looking forward to eating it.

The next time we went to Mid Valley again, mum said we should take a look and see whether the shop had opened....at first we didn't find it but we walked round the corner and there it was...YAY!!! Actually I think it was already open the last time we went but we didn't look for it round the corner.


We bought 3, one for mum, one for dad and one for me, and I couldn't wait till we reached home...I ate mine in the car!

Band Performance

Today my bandmates and I went on stage to do a performance, because one of my school teachers was retiring. Everyone wore their band uniform, even me! This was my first time. I have to say the uniform was so cool (even though I didn't wanted to wear it at first ,because it's very thick)

We were supposed to dance and play our intruments, I was so confused at first but I got used to it. I guess I did well on stage...After that, we had to stand outside and say goodbye to the teacher who was retiring. The sun was SO HOT I was like BURNING!!! Our band teacher didn't tell us we had to do that, if not I would have put on sunblock...haha!

I wore my band uniform home because we were supposed to wash it. When I reached home, my mum took pictures of me using her handphone. When I switched on my phone, I got messages from my friends saying, "You were so cool on stage" , "You're so pretty wearing like that" and all that...

Now I can't wait for sports day (I get to wear my band uniform again)!!! :D
