I Heart God Youth Camp !!!

A friend invited me to a youth camp this month. It was a 4 days 3 nights camp at Bayu Beach Resort, Port Dickson. Not everyone gets to go for camps. I've heard friends say they can't attend because their parents won't allow them to. So I'm really grateful for my parents who lets me go for these camps =)

I've been to many family camps since I was young and started going for youth camps last year. Lots of times I just enjoy camp but forget the rest. That's why I admit sometimes I don't take the sermons and everything seriously.

But this camp ... was different =)

I've been going to church since I was very young. Actually, since I was born! I come from a Christian background. So every Sunday , my parents would take my brother and I to church. Now that I'm 14, going to church , singing songs, listening to sermons has become a very usual thing to me .. until I saw this picture in my camp journal.

Questions suddenly started popping in my head. Do I know God? Do I love God? and Pastor Rockie Siew (our camp speaker) shared this in one of the sessions so now I'm willing to change. Not just to sing songs but to love God and sing with all my heart. =)

1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Everyone makes mistakes right? Being an immature girl like me I've made many mistakes in the past. Some mistakes that I don't even know why I did it. Sometimes a word or a sentence might just slip out of someones mouth and end up hurting our feelings. Or ... It might be the other way , we say something and accidentally hurt people's feelings. Agree? and we all know in this type of situation we have to use this word called "forgiveness" =)

Forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could have been any different. Forgiving people is hard. Yup, I'm a human too so it's also hard for me. There were some people that have offended me in the past .. I'm sure I have offended some people too =( and sometimes I just had to hold back those tears and act like nothing has happened. But now after listening to Pastor Rockie share his testimony and teaching, I know what's right to do. That is to forgive , because God forgave us while we were still sinners =)

Forgiving is not just to forgive and to forget, it's to remember but to let go =) 

Back to the topic, this camp was different because it was the first time I was touched by all the sessions. I don't regret every single moment of this camp. (seriously!) Being able to encounter God personally was truly amazing and also scary for me because it was my first time..

Aside from that, I really thank God for answering my prayers. Which was .. Awesome roommates !! and of course .. Awesome new friends too !! =D They were very kind and friendly. Had a fun time with them. Watching television and LOL-ing at the show called "Wipe Out" until late at night xD Saving seats for us during sessions and meals , chit chatting and also introducing new friends to us. They really took care of us like our big sisters ! xD There's just one word to say , Thank You !!! =D


So .. Last sentence , I enjoyed this camp A LOT !!! =D

Holidays are back :D

Holidays are here ~ !!! That's why I'm blogging , lol. xD Holidays started extra early this year, probably because the form 5's students are gonna have their SPM soon. I actually just finished my exams on Wednesday, then Thursday was the last day of school. Time flies 0.o

Other than school stuff. Last Saturday I went for ballet class. While stretching all of us suddenly heard a "crack" sound , and .. it was me, I over stretched and pulled my thigh muscle :( Went to the clinic on Sunday night coz my leg was swollen. Mum asked the doctor whether the muscle could be thorn, and the doctor gave us a shock by saying :

"Possible ........................... not." :O

Phew~  She dragged that possible word way too many seconds. xD

It's been already one week and it still hurts :( Doctor said if it doesn't heal properly, next time the pain will probably come back, and I really don't want that to happen @.@ Hopefully it will get better soon.

I've been listening the Sungha Jung's music lately. I love his amazing guitar skills :D

Yup, my blog's not dead yet

It's been a long .............. time since I've blogged. Almost a year?? @.@ You can say that I was lazy , and now with my ipod , I've become even more lazier to on the computer. xD

I took my Grade 6 practical piano exam in June. A exam which I took 8 months to practise, which made my whole family "jelak" to all of my songs. As soon as I open the piano, they would normally all disappear and go upstairs. Well, at least I didn't hear any neighbours slamming their windows when I starting playing xD It's understandable coz it really has been 8 months of playing the 3 same songs over and over again :P 

Last month , early in the morning I received a sms from my piano teacher about my results. 

Distinction!!!!!! =O

Made me jump up and down in my room xD 8 months .. It all paid off .. Phew~  waiting for the certificate :D

My 2nd year in secondary school is going to end soon. Still have a long way more in school life ,(better enjoy it =) ) but I admit .. I miss my primary school friends :'( Don't get me wrong, I've have met a lot of new good friends in this secondary school. They're all friendly and kind , and I'm enjoying my school life there :D but sometimes when your friends from different primary schools start talking about their own primary school days, that's when I start to feel lonely and lost @.@

It's hard to not miss them when we have so many memories together. We were also friends for many years (some even since kindergarten). Ah, thinking about this is making me cry :'( I really really hope we can meet up some time soon. =)

This morning's weather was the type of weather that I would sleep until afternoon. But coz of musicians practise I had to wake up extra early to go to church. Don't know why, whenever the weather is cool and nice, I have to wake up early to go somewhere. Always happens. xD

Go St Johns!!

Sorry for not blogging in a long time. It has been a very busy and tiring week plus my bro is always "glued" to the computer playing dota so I seldom get to use it.

I joined St John's marching competition this year. We were suppose to compete with other badan beruniform teams in our own school. So we trained all week. From morning to afternoon, in the SUPER hot sun, and even waking up at 7 am to go to school and train. Then finally yesterday was the competition day.

I woke up at 6 am to get ready. This was the first time I had to wear my full St Johns uniform and also the nurse hat xD Reached school at almost 7am and continued training (warm up). We were the first team to compete. Just as we were about to start, it started raining, heavily! So we had to find shelter. Haiz ... I was praying so hard for the rain to stop and finally after 5 to 10 minutes the rain slowly started to stop. Thank You God!! :D It didn't completely stopped raining (still drizzling) but they decided to start the competition, and we marched in the rain. 

Some of us did do a couple of mistakes .. and also the crowd was cheering and clapping hands so it kinda distracted us a bit. (I don't blame them)  We tried our best =) In the end, we got 3rd place! :D Woohoooo~ Although it wasn't the results we really wanted but it's ok, we'll try again next year. ^^ So congratz to all of our school's St Johns members!!! x)

Worried :S

Soon I'll be going on a vacation with my family. I'm very excited but at the same time worried too. Last week I went for piano class, teacher showed me her calender, telling me how much time I have left to practise until my piano exam. Yesterday I went for ballet class, ballet teacher also told me how much time I have left until my ballet exam. On the outside I gave a smile to both of my teachers but on the inside, I was about to faint coz there's not much time left.

Then there's today, in the car my parents asked me whether I started studying for my school's exam since I have to replace some of my exams earlier before we go for our vacation .. and more??  My piano teacher is going to give me theory homework to do during the vacation, also I have to bring my piano books to practise at my uncle's house, AND bring my school books to study too. Is it still counted a vacation for me ?? @.@ Can I study and finish my homework in time?? Will I still be able to enjoy my vacation with all the exam stuff running in my head?? 

I admit I'm a person who gets worried very fast. I can't believe I'm saying this but when I get stressed or worried, I cry.. I don't know why but I just cry. I went into a better class this year and our teachers expect us to get very good results in our exams and it's hard. T.T

I guess all I can do now is pray, study harder, work harder and never give up. Plus I should cheer up a bit coz my birthday is in 2 days time. :DD

Gong Xi Fa Cai !!

Last Saturday and Sunday went for reunion dinner at my uncle and grandparent's house. Here's the food ...

My cousins, uncles and aunts came to our house for dinner today. We normally only get to meet up during Chinese New Year so it's always fun and exciting every year to get to have fellowship together and stuff.

Mum decided not to cook so we packed food from a restaurant in the afternoon. My bro likes to ... ok maybe not likes ... He LOVES to put the volume of his music to the MAXIMUM. So while my bro and I were waiting in the car (parents went to pack food). He turned the radio volume to like 60++ and bass to 5!! That is SUPER loud for our car. The whole car was like vibrating!!! He keeps saying his future car radio volume will be like this. Sitting in the car at that time almost made me sick! Getting car sick when the car isn't even moving ... LOL xD 

Okiee , back to dinner with my relatives. My uncle joked A LOT so from this story to that story we laughed all the way xD Had a very fun time. Hope we can do it again next year. :D

Another Langkawi trip!!

Went to Langkawi for 4 days 3 nights last week. Last year my aunt went with us but this time my grandparents came along too. :)

First day - Woke up at 5 something in the morning @.@ You could imagine how round and big my panda eyes looked like. Left at about 6 something to go fetch my grandparents and aunt, then later we were off to Langkawi! We reached Langkawi at 3 pm, after sitting the ferry and all. We rented a car that had auto sliding doors! and it also had a sun roof!! So cool! :D Ate dinner and then went back to our hotels.

I shared a queen size bed with my bro tat night ... as usual, I woke up in the middle of the night realizing that my pillow is gone. Since it was dark, I took my iPod and shined it at my bed to find it .. and .. Guess what? My bro stole it! Again .... =.=''

Second day - Went for breakfast nearby. Later we went for a river cruise at Kilim Geoforest Park. We went to the bats cave, fish farm, crocodile cave and the eagle feeding place. So sorry there's not a lot of pictures coz my pictures didn't turn out that nice. :S After that we went to the open sea. The boat driver drove super fast so it was very cooling. It was a super awesome ride! Had delicious dinner tat too night :)

Third day - (this is what we did for almost the whole day)  SHOPPING !!!! xD I'm serious, we shopped the whole day! From morning to night. We went from shop to shop. Bought A LOT of chocolates and I also manage to buy some souvenirs, a jacket and a shirt for Chinese New Year. :D Other than that, my bro and I sat the Go Kart and we also went to the beach. =) My pimples are gonna come out as soon as I eat those chocolates! xP

Fourth day - It was time to go back, but before that ... went to the beach and then shopping some more!! Fyi, we shopped everyday .. and I slept so well every night coz I was so tired after shopping. xD 1pm we started our journey and headed back home.

My mum and I bought us each a pair of sunglasses before we went to Langkawi, and it was worth it coz the weather in Langkawi was super hot!
